Matthew 15:10-11
10 Then Jesus called to the crowd come here and listen he said and try to understand. 11 It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you, you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth.
Wow I have been reading God’s Holy word for some time now and it never ceases to amaze me how it fits in with our life on every level. His word penetrates are hearts rightly dividing the truth from a false belief. There is no middle ground. You know sometimes we look real good to other folks on the outside. All smiling and pretending all is good with us. Look at me I am such a great servant of God. When really in are hearts we are either struggling with something or we are living a double life no one knows about except God Satan and us. Hard facts my friends. I don’t want to come off as a type of fellow that wants to beat us over the head so to speak with God’s word because that is not what God would want. Instead I would like to gently remind myself and share with others what God laid on my heart and if it applies to you then take a good look and go the other way my friend.
Proverbs 4: 23 Guard your heart above all else for it determines the course of your life. Psalm 119 11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
These scripture God’s Holy word revels to us many things about are hearts. I don’t want to go on talking on this subject for this is a long exhaustive topic. It is a very important issue in regards to are lives though. So search your heart and intent when you speak and what you allow to dwell in your heart for it could mean the difference between life and death. Oh Lord search my heart today and if you find anything not pleasing to you then reveal it that I might not sin against you but that I might have life more abundantly in you amen.
