Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Luke 21:33, NIV
But the word of the Lord stands for ever.1 Peter 1:25, NIV
There are way to many scriptures for me to post on Gods word here today. I pulled these out of the little ceramic loaf of bread that sets on our dining rom table. For sometime now I have been lead back to what Gods word says about my life and situations. Many of my friends and family struggle sometimes as we all do with life’s issues and problems.
We feel inadequate and and hopeless about our problems and life in general. We might argue or complain to one another and rarely have good communications with one another. Therefore our issues and problems just keep overwhelming us. It does not really matter what we are facing today or how we feel. Emotions can be misleading. Whole new post emotions.
I know someone is saying you don’t know my issues. Your right I don’t. I do know mine though and I also get frequent phone calls from family and friends about their issues and problems. It happens the older you get. Wisdom from failures and mistakes I have made, makes me qualified to share with them or at least they think so.
What I want us to recognize and be reminded of today is what does God’s word say’s about it. No kidding haven’t we trusted ourselves enough. How many times will we fall down and mess up and then wait for eternity while we punish ourselves for our failures and punish others around us before we go to God in prayer and ask for forgiveness and restoration.
After all doesn’t God say “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Sure he does. So really think about it. How much longer will we do what we want and think what we want. When we can take it to God in prayer and live our life’s by what God’s word say’s.
Much love and blessing’s to all who read. Father I pray you give us a new realization of your word and how powerful it is in ours and others life’s around us. In Jesus name I pray.
