That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared
for those who love him.”
1Corinthians 2:9-10 NLT
But it was to us God revealed this things by his spirit for his spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.
These things Paul is talking about are spirtual things not heavenly things. I have added what the Lord revealed to me this morning and that is without the work of the Holy Spirit we cannot believe or accept the things God will reveal to us. One of those things is God’s love for us and the place he has gone to prepare for us. It is worth saying that these words in these scriptures Paul spoke of might be referring to the aprcoyphal book of Elijah or Orgigen and Jerome. This passage is also from Isaiah 64:4. As well. It goes without saying when scripture is quoted it is always advisable to study the word to fully undestand what God wants us to. This is not a full study of this scripture and is not intended to mislead anyone.
I want us to take a close look at these words today and remember the love that God has for us and the place Jesus has went to prepare for us. The very presences of things and words all we will hear and see and can imagine will be before all our senses.
My beloved friends God redeemed us from our sins and restored us to him through the ultimate sacrifice his precious son Jesus our intercessor and redeemer. Then Jesus went and prepared a place for us. It wasn’t already prepared the way he wanted it to be. It had to be special and significant, for the bride he would bring home. The ultimate relationship with each of us.
Ask yourself if you do not know Jesus like you want to, and remind yourself if you do, of the unselfish and unexplainable love he has for all of us. So deep so wide so high we cannot even fathom. Always watching over us, always making plans even before we existed to prosper us in love and wisdom and relationship with him, here on earth and in the heaven.
I cannot even write about or imagine or explain it to you today even though I try to . His love and this place with him is real. You see how I know this is when he left to go to prepare this place for us he said I will be back, but until then I will send you a comforter. The Holy Spirit of God.
Jesus loved us so much he sent his Spirit to dwell with us and “hear “the word comfort us guide us and to show us all things. This is a God whose word never changes because of circumstances or offense or death or conflict. His word is the same today as it was yesterday and that it was in the beginning and that will always remain the same. God’s word is alive and real and cannot be changed.
I am not preaching at you this morning. I am sharing with you the love of God’s promise in his word that struck me as I read it today. Oh beloved friends please let God’s words sink deep down into your soul and take root. Stand on the word of God today and have freedom to love and be in relationship with the most loving and compassionate God you will ever know of.
Hear God today as he calls us. See God today all around us. Show the world God today.
All my love Tom
What an encouraging word to start this work week with! Thank you for the reminder of a love so deep we can’t comprehend exactly what it means. Romans 8:38-39 Bub…another good one to chew on… “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!”
Love you so much!

Not to nitpick, but that was only half of the sentence, please read the next verse. To use only this first part is misleading… to reveal those prepared things to us is one of the works of the Holy Spirit that Jesus sent us. 🙂
