Deborahs sticky notes and poems have brought me a blessing for many years. Sometimes I just read them in passing through her post and never respond yet they touch me every time and uplift and encourage me. I am thankful for that. This poem is a profound statement and holds much truth and a key to the kingdom go God. Thank you again Deborah. Much love Tom
CHRISTian poetry ~ by deborah ann
Today I am perusing,
my Bible in my hand
with the intent . . .
to follow its command.
I’m reading carefully,
what God has to say
with the intent . . .
to listen and obey.
Today I’m pouring over,
the verses on the page
with the intent . . .
their wisdom I’ll engage.
I’m studying each word,
looking up their meaning
with the intent . . .
my soul they’ll be feeding.
Today I’m perusing,
my Bible I am scouring
for God’s Word I know . . .
I need to be devouring!

Study to shew thyself
approved unto God,
a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing
the word of truth.

~ to GOD be the GLORY ~
Hi, Tom!
I’ve been thinking about you lately, praying all is well. These are troubling times. Stormy, to say the least. The poem is lovely. I pray we won’t be ashamed of ourselves or the work we do as followers of Jesus who endured the shame of the cross for us.

I am so glad you listen to the Lord and check on me. I have been doing fair as they say. Where we are trying to do the Lord’s work there is always struggle inward and outward. Jesus and the Holy Spirit take care of those things though with his love and faithfulness. Its really worth saying I was reading Hebrews 1-2 this am and not wasting that precious gift of salvation was mentioned. The Spirit is connecting us for sure. Yes Elouise these are hard times for us as followers and just plain difficult for quite a few people lost and saved. We started a Sunday service and a Wednesday night bible study and a complex in our area that houses homeless and other folks. It has not been without its challenges but very rewarding. I am still working with pastors and leaders. Trying to disciple people for Jesus and teach them what he has taught me. I came down with a skin cancer on my back the other day. They will have to cut it out again and do another test to see if they get it all. I had melanoma on my noggin a few years back so they watch me close. The Lord is putting people on each others heart to intercede for and lift up. Acts 14:22 says to encourage the brethren to remain in the faith saying to them that it is through many trials and tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God. God is faithful and he is all about keeping us in relationship with him. I am aware that he pursues me and loves us so much. I have been doing some webinars for study and classes. So between that and services I have not had the time to write. I miss you good folks and you are all so near to my heart and a vital and important part of my journey. My blogging family. I think it would be cool if some of could connect in person somewhere for a face to face. If if it was a Skype deal or whatever. I will try to be more faithful in my writing. I am always here reach out anytime it warms my heart and makes me smile. I needto go and finish up my message for tomorrow Elouise. Thank you for thinking of me.
Much Love Tom
